About Ringling College of Art and Design
Since 1931, Ringling College of Art and Design has cultivated the creative spirit in students from around the globe. The private, not-for-profit, fully accredited college offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in eleven disciplines and the Bachelor of Arts in two. The College’s rigorous curriculum employs the studio model of teaching and immediately engages students through a comprehensive program that is both specific to the major of study and focused on the liberal arts. The Ringling College teaching model ultimately shapes students into highly employable and globally aware artists and designers. For more information, visit www.ringling.edu and follow the College on Facebook, InstagramTwitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Students, employees, and donors all have choices when it comes to who they support and our brand plays a critical role in student recruitment and retention, employee hiring and retention, and community support. It’s critical that we work together to deliver a brand experience that consistently shows our audiences what sets us apart from the others and how the College and our students are making an impact. To help ensure consistency in the email signatures of all Ringling College employees are required to use the approved format.

In our drive to pre-eminence, the Office of Marketing and Communications is seeking faculty and staff that may enjoy speaking with the press in their areas of expertise as media opportunities become available.

Our department frequently fields requests from news organizations seeking insight and commentary on breaking news and how it may relate to advances in art, design, and education, as well as collegiate and academic matters.

Faculty and staff who would like to participate in being a subject matter expert (SME) in this program, should complete this survey. Most press interviews run 15 minutes or less and are a great way to increase your professional visibility.

The Alfred R. Goldstein Library features a wide variety of quiet, group study, and work process spaces. Looking for a quiet study area? Make your way up to the 3rd floor to look for a book in the Research Collection or peruse the new art magazines while relaxing in comfortable seating. When the weather is nice, you can take your coffee from Roberta’s Café on the first floor to one of the four terraces to work outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Looking for meeting space to get together with a group? Check out the group study rooms, which are available on all three floors of the Goldstein Library. The 10 group study rooms are available to students on a first-come first served basis, or available for booking by Ringling College faculty and staff for group and class meetings.
