Two Ringling College of Art and Design Illustration students were awarded prestigious scholarship awards, and 23 were accepted into the 67th annual Society of Illustrators Competition.

Since 1981 the New York-based organization has hosted a student competition and exhibition, supporting students and giving them a little boost to kick-start their careers. They have awarded over $1,500,000 in that time. This year, the Society of Illustrators received over 4500 submissions from students throughout the world, from which they selected 186 works to include in the exhibition.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog and reception to celebrate the students. They will have the opportunity to gain the attention of publishers, designers, art directors, curators, and art buyers.
The works will be on display at the Museum of American Illustration in New York City from May 7-July 7, 2025, and viewable online after the exhibition concludes.
