Sarasota Art Museum’s latest exhibition, The Truth of the Night Sky: Anne Patterson and Patrick Harlin, was the subject of an extensive article in the May 1 issue of Art Daily. The exhibit, which can be experienced at the Museum through Sept. 29, features a combination of Patterson’s sculptures, paintings, and more, accompanied by original orchestral compositions by Harlin. According to the artists, the immersive experience was inspired by the 1968 photo of the Earth taken during the Apollo 8 mission.
The Truth of the Night Sky is presented by Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College and Art and Design in collaboration with the Hermitage Artist Retreat on Manasota Key.
Established in 1996 in Monterrey, Mexico, Art Daily highlights current works, artists, and museums around the world. It touts itself as “The first art newspaper on the net.”
