She has over 20 years of experience as an executive producer, director, and creative executive, overseeing animated, mixed-media, and live-action content. Her passion for developing and supporting the underserved community of writers, artists, storytellers, and creators was the catalyst for her launching

Career Insight brings professional artists and company representatives from a variety of backgrounds together on one day to share experiences, creative expertise, and industry insights. The date has been designated a professional development day, ensuring students are able to attend. The event will take place from 10:30 am to 4 pm in the Alfred R. Goldstein Library. The morning will be full of engaging talks by Dr. Larry R. Thompson, president of Ringling College and Clifton. There will be a break for food trucks and activities on the back terrace from 12-1 pm, followed by the opening of the network tables on the first and second floors of the Goldstein Library.

Students will have the opportunity to connect with employers from different industries, share their portfolios, ask questions, and plant the seed for future job opportunities. Recruiters from video game developer Virtuos, who employs over 3,500 full-time professionals in locations across North America, Asia, and Europe, will be in attendance. Space design and fabrication company Creative Arts Unlimited, based out of Pinellas Park will be there. They are responsible for ambitious projects like the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Play Space in Hollywood, Florida, Hilton Hotels in St. Petersburg, Florida and Dallas, Texas, and the Wonka Candy Shop in New York City. And sports media production company Greyline Media will be tabling to talk about their company.

Ringling College students and alumni can register to attend on the Career Insight webpage. Professionals and organizations can also register to host a table and represent their company.
