Ringling Votes
Ringling College advocates for civic engagement
with our Ringling Votes initiatives.
Ringling Votes is an initiative led by Ringling students and staff in collaboration with community partners to increase civic engagement throughout campus. Recognizing the importance of civic engagement, the College supports civic-minded students by offering opportunities to become well-informed about election processes, register to vote, and get to the polls.
The College earned ALL IN’s Highly Established Action Plan Seal for the 2024 election cycle for developing a nonpartisan democratic engagement action plan based on the Strengthening American Democracy Action Planning Guide (SADG) Rubric. In 2023, we received a Voter Friendly Campus designation by the national nonpartisan organization Campus Vote Project and NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. In 2020, nearly 82% of Ringling College students were registered to vote, and 62% cast their ballots.
