Remy's Cupboard
Remy’s Cupboard is a food and hygiene pantry that is available to students, faculty, and staff currently enrolled or employed at Ringling College. Remy’s Cupboard strives to alleviate food and hygiene insecurity and hunger within the College community by providing supplemental food, nutrition education, hygiene items, and resources to students, faculty, and staff in need.
The pantry is managed by the College’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion with support from All Faiths Food Bank.
Picking Up Items
No one should go hungry or want for basic needs. In addition to food items, toiletries are also available at no cost. Students are encouraged to stop by anytime during business hours.
Donating Items
The pantry relies heavily on donations. Food contributions must be non-perishable and free of dents, cannot be expired or opened, and must be in original packaging/labeling.
High-demand items include canned tuna, cereal, canned/cupped fruit, soup, rice, beans, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, canned vegetables, baby food, and personal hygiene items.
Additional Ways to Support Remy’s Cupboard
Volunteers must be currently enrolled or employed student, faculty, or staff member at Ringling College of Art and Design.
