Ringling College of Art and Design Graphic Design seniors Sandra Lee and Tako Pharsenadze were just named to Graphic Design USA’s 2024 Students to Watch. This year’s list comprises 114 total students—including undergrads, graduate students, and continuing education enrollees—from established and emerging arts programs throughout the country who are “ready to burst on the graphic design scene.”

Originally from Tennessee, Lee hopes to combine her passions for social justice and climate change with her interests in UI/UX, environmental and product/packaging design.

Pharsenadze came to Ringling College from the Republic of Georgia and has developed an interest in sustainability and creating environmentally conscious resources for other designers. She told GDUSA, “I am forever grateful to Ringling College, which not only provided me with incredible knowledge and skills to succeed in the industry, but also allowed me to create lifelong bonds with talented students, mentors, and faculty.”

The Students to Watch list is an extension of GDUSA’s People to Watch, which began with the publication’s founding in 1963. Students to Watch not only honors emerging Graphic Design professionals but has become a trusted resource for the professional and creative community.
