Stacey’s Extraordinary Words skyrocketed to the top of The New York Times Best Sellers Children’s list in January 2022.

The book, written by former Georgia State Representative and current GA Governor nominee Stacey Abrams, follows the story of a young girl (based on Abrams) who learns that win or lose, her words are powerful. And, that sometimes, perseverance is the most important word of all.

All 32 pages of the book are beautifully illustrated by Ringling College of Art and Design and first-generation graduate, Kitt Thomas. 

As quoted on her Instagram, Thomas wrote, “It’s truly unbelievable and it gives me so much affirmation and excitement for the future. I’m just so lucky that I have a job that I love with all my heart, thank you all so much for making this happen. I’m dreaming.”
