The Hollywood Reporter Ranks Ringling College Among Top Film Schools!

The Hollywood Reporter just released its “2017 Top Film Schools in the US,” naming Ringling College as #16!

According to THR, “the far-flung Florida school’s $18 million, 40,000-square-foot film facility, which opened in April, is helping reel in big-name guests.” Named among the visiting artists are Kevin Smith, Justin Long, and Ethan Hawke. The write-up also includes a shout-out to the recent viral computer animation senior thesis work, In a Heartbeat.

This marks the seventh year THR has presented the annual rankings of the 25 best film schools in America. According to the magazine, “the magazine assembled the list by consulting with academic experts, industry professionals and scores of film school alumni.”
