FIRST ROUND: SUNCOAST ADDY AWARDS

CONGRATULATIONS Suncoast ADDY Winners of 2018!

Last Saturday, the winners were announced for the 4th District American Advertising Awards, hosted annually by the American Advertising Foundation. This year, Ringling College of Art and Design dominated the local student competition in various categories.

According to the website: “Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards – recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.”

Congratulations! You have two more rounds to go. Fingers crossed for the regionals!

When the weather is nice, you can take your coffee from Roberta’s Café on the first floor to one of the four terraces to work outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Looking for meeting space to get together with a group? Check out the group study rooms, which are available on all three floors of the Goldstein Library. The 10 group study rooms are available to students on a first-come first served basis, or available for booking by Ringling College faculty and staff for group and class meetings.
