Congratulations to Ringling College of Art and Design’s Computer Animation department and to recent graduates, Anushka Nair ’22 and Lauryn Anthony ’22, for being selected as finalists for the 2022 Student Academy Awards.
This year, for the first time, international and domestic entries were combined making the selection pool even more competitive. Nair and Anthony’s animated short film, Period Drama, was the only entry from the United States to make the final cut.
Ringling College’s Computer Animation students have won 17 Student Academy Awards since 1998. Period Drama, if selected, will secure the College’s 18th award.
