Sarasota, FL – August 2, 2021 – On behalf of Ringling College of Art and Design, College President Dr. Larry R. Thompson would like to formally announce and introduce two key members of the senior leadership team at the College; Dr. Tracy A Wagner and Dr. Jason L. Good.
Dr. Tracy Wagner previously served as Ringling College’s Vice President for Finance and Administration. Effective June 1, 2021, Dr. Wagner joined Ringling College President Dr. Larry R. Thompson in the Office of the President, serving in a new role of Executive Vice President. In this position she will work directly with Dr. Thompson leading a number of special initiatives of the College, including institutional strategic planning, working to further engage the College’s Board of Trustees, and helping to further connect the Sarasota Art Museum campus and the Main campus. She will also be responsible for overseeing the Offices of Human Resources and Planning and Institutional Effectiveness, and serve as the College’s Title IX Coordinator.
“I feel that Tracy is the perfect person to serve in this new Executive Vice President role,” confirmed Dr. Thompson. “She has served the College for over fifteen years, spearheading multiple phases of campus master planning, enabling extensive construction of much needed facilities on the campus, and, of course, ensuring financial stability of the institution. We are extremely lucky to have her knowledge and expertise on our leadership team.”
On May 6, 2021, Ringling College also announced another important appointment following a national search: Dr. Jason Good will now serve as Ringling College’s Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing.
Dr. Good is a strong academic administrator who has been a leader in admissions, recruitment, marketing, communications, retention, and study abroad programs. He most recently served as Vice President for Innovation and Student Recruitment at Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), where he oversaw student recruitment and university marketing and communications; led the team that enrolled the largest first-year class at EMU in four years; and managed the strategy for awarding the institution’s multi-million-dollar financial aid budget. In addition, Dr. Good was Director of Admissions and Director of Retention during his time at EMU.

Dr. Tracy A. Wagner has a BA in Economics and Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, her MBA from the University of Dubuque, and a PhD in Leadership and Education/Specialization in Higher Education Administration from Barry University. Tracy has served private higher education 31 years, 27 of those as the chief financial officer including service to the University of Dubuque and Knox College. After serving 15 years as Ringling College of Art and Design’s VP for Finance and Administration, Tracy is currently helping to lead the institution as Executive VP. In this position, she works directly with Ringling’s President and senior leadership, spearheading a number of special initiatives of the College including institutional strategic planning, working to effectively engage the Board of Trustees, and further connecting the Museum campus and the Main campus. Tracy is also responsible for overseeing the Offices of Human Resources and Planning and Institutional Effectiveness, and serves the College as our Title IX Coordinator. Tracy is a member of numerous associations including the National and Southern Associations of College and University Business Officers, the Society of College and University Planners, and the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers. She currently serves as vice-chair of the Higher Education Facilities Financing Authority.
Dr. Jason L. Good received his BA from Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), and his MA and PhD in Hispanic studies from Spain’s Universidad de Cadiz. Jason has more than 15 years of experience in higher education with administrative experience in strategic enrollment management, marketing, international education, and faculty instruction. Prior to coming to Ringling College of Art and Design he served as Vice President for Innovation and Student Recruitment at EMU. He has also held leadership positions as Director of Study Abroad, Director of Admissions, and Director of Retention with experience at both public and private institutions. Jason is also an educator with experience as a faculty instructor for traditional undergraduate, post-traditional, online, bilingual, graduate, and international instruction. As Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Ringling, Jason provides leadership to the Admissions, Financial Aid, Design Center, and Marketing and Communications teams. Jason is passionate about the value strategic enrollment management and marketing brings to an institution, not only in growing the enrollment, but also in building diverse and inclusive student bodies and removing barriers to improve access to underrepresented groups.
Jason is married to Bryn Mullet Good, a family nurse practitioner. Bryn and Jason have two children, Mara (5) and James (8) and they are all are excited for their new relocation to Sarasota. Jason has many interests, but some of his favorite moments have been traveling with his family, having taken his children to places including Spain, Taiwan, Costa Rica, and Ireland.
