Ringling College of Art and Design is committed to building community and believes that art and design is for everyone. Continuing Studies supports the academic mission of Ringling College by developing innovative programs that serve current and future students and the local community.

Our programs promote education, skill building, and lifelong learning by providing opportunities at multiple locations, including the Ringing College of Art and Design Main Campus, Sarasota Art Museum and the Ringling College Museum Campus, and Englewood Art Center.

PreCollege is a four-week summer intensive program for high school students ages 16-18. Students stay on campus and live life as a Ringling College student, earning three college credits for successful completion. Students follow a robust curriculum of four Core Classes for fundamental skill building, as well as two selected Immersions for a deeper investigation of areas reflective of their interests in the College’s degree programs. Their creative experience is augmented by six self-selected mini workshops from a broad variety of faculty presented experiences.
