Photography and Imaging is housed in the Cooley Photography Center, an entire building devoted to the department. It contains darkrooms, state-of-the-art workstations, printers, scanners, contemporary strobes, light controlling devices, large-format cameras, and inkjet printers. You’ll learn to use the tools available to a contemporary photographer for digital capture, image manipulation, and digital output. Our low student-to-faculty ratio in the department will provide you with individual attention, and the flexibility to pursue your vision and your interests. Seniors take part in two exhibitions, a gallery show devoted to personal work, and an off-campus professional show attended by potential employers.
